The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex has recovered by over 31 points in early trading on funds buying after IT major Wipro posted strong earnings for the third quarter.
The 30-share sensitive index, which had lost nearly 15 points last day, was up by 31.55 points at 14,156.28 in the first five minutes of trading.
Recording another robust performance Wipro Limited has announced 45 percent year on year growth in its revenue for the third quarter of the current fiscal at Rs,3979 crore with profits surging by 41 percent at Rs.765 crore.
